It was a great trip. Comfortable accommodations, excellent events and interesting people as well as terrific films.

We had a great time with Talk Cinema in San Sebastián. In addition to accreditation access to films at SSIFF, they arranged wonderful food experiences, including an exceptional pintxos stroll through old town. Food, films and Bilbao Guggenheim museum made for a very memorable excursion for us.

Beautiful city, great to walk around in. Interesting movies, terrific food. The group including the 3 guides were all interesting smart people. Shoutout to Cathy for her time and patience in helping me with the websites. Hotel was just nice enough and everything worked. Staff at hotel was always helpful. Dinner and food walk and special lunch were all enjoyable. The websites were cumbersome even with Cathy's guidance, and it was very time-consuming to research the movies. I could have used more logistical guidance, either via email or a handout. For example(s): locations of bus stops and frequency of busses, that busses stop running after a certain time, that we had to call a taxi instead of just waiting at the taxi stand, distances between the hotel and theaters, a warning about bike paths, hotel restaurant hours, restaurant suggestions/locations, that all films did not have English translations, that the Principe Theater was different from another theater with a similar name., and that sold out movie tickets might become available during the festival. All of this for a first time traveler would have been helpful and saved a lot of time. B E

Definitely a 5-star review. Exceeded expectations. Enjoyed everything about it: beautiful San Sebastian itself, the exciting film festival, fabulous food, nice hotel, Bilbao, & great group of fellow film enthusiasts.
